My super-mega-amazing friend Kim turned 21 recently and the theme of her party was 'op-shop formal', which naturally meant a trip to Savers to find something terrifically embarrassing. I went with this emerald green (the flash on my camera was playing up, so the second photos is a more accurate representation of the colour), slightly Amish looking dress. It was originally down to my ankles, with full length sleeves, but it didn't stay that way for long once I got out the sewing machine! Photos of the finished product to follow...
