DIY Triangle Patterns Tape Manicure

I had a lot of fun playing around with tape and nail polish this weekend, as you can see...
My base is Sally Hansen 'Mint Sorbet', although the camera really changed the colour in this first photo.
Tip: I used a really tiny pair of sewing scissors, which made it way easier to cut smaller shapes out of the tape!
Allow the polish to dry a little before peeling off the tape. I had much better results that I usually do with tape manis by using a fairly old roll of masking tape that had a lost a bit of it's stick, so it came away quite easily without taking of the base colour or smudging the patterns as I peeled it off.

I'm really loving triangle/geometric patterns at the moment!

    1. Ooooh, thanks, you've totally given me an idea for my next manicure! :)

  2. Aw! What pretty nails@ I can never get mine to turn out well - I always bump and smudge them. :-P

And thanks for the comment on my blog! The glasses are from Target, but I think I got them last year... I can't remember exactly... o.O

    1. Ooh, thanks for the reply!
Hehe, I have to put a lot of time aside where I won't have to touch anything in order to paint my nails, because I too am very prone to smudging them!

  3. I've got minty nails right now! Great minds think alike :)

    1. Thanks for the comment! And looking around your blog, I see you share my love for all things beachy and turquoise/teal. Great mind indeed! :)
